Dokita offers low-cost pricing benefit that is based on your location and participating state, province or country. Some specialty providers consultations may vary, depending on the provider consultation type and location. Your cost will be shown prior to scheduling your visit.

Dokita is designed for on-demand care, so no appointment is necessary. After you register and log in to account. You’ll have access doctors who are available for a visit will appear on your screen. You can browse each doctors’ profilesand select who you want to see.

More employers and health plans are adding Telemedicine as a benefit to support insurance claims. In most cases depending on your health plan provider you have to submit a claim for reimbursement of your out-of-pocket expenses for Telehealth services. *If paying with your insurance, the cost will vary depending on your plan.

Yes. Our physicians will make that determination if a prescription is required based on the patients diagnoses. Our doctors can diagnose, treat and prescribe medication if medically necessary. When you request a consultation with a physician, the doctor will ask you where you’d like any prescription to be sent; and will even help you find a pharmacy if you’re traveling.

Only selected approved Dokita staff members and credentialed physicians have authorized access to view patient records. And of course, you have access your own medical records at anytime.

Yes. Dokita is specifically designed for individuals to easily access doctors and medical specialists, at anytime, anywhere in the world. All you need to do is log into your account from location and view the available doctors near you.

If you think you’re experiencing a medical emergency, please do not use telehealth. Instead, you should immediately seek emergency care by calling 911. Telehelath is designed to assist patients with non-emergency medical problems. You should not use Dokita services if you are experiencing a life threatening medical emergency. Please contact your local emergency services help line e.g. 911 or an ambulance service to get you to the nearest hospital.

Yes. You may choose to share your information. You will be asked if you want a copy of your notes from your visit to be shared with your primary doctor. Dokita can electronically send your consultation summary to your primary care provider.

To keep health information private each adult must create their own account. Children under 18 may be added to their parents account.

Yes, during your visit you may ask the doctor to write you a doctor’s note and you will get a secure message with the sick slip attached. This note is stored in your account under both secure messages and past visits.
